I’ve been hacking back the bamboo in the back garden. It started off as a plan to get more light for the vegetables, then it turned into a more general clearout session which enlarged the path and took out some roots to make it easier for the trundler transport.
Bamboo is so impressive. I cleared a labyrinth path through the clump a few months back and now there are 2.5 metre high new bamboo shoots blockign my way when I try to walk through it. What phenomenal growth.
I’ve been taking out some chunky 4metre long sticks which will be great for construction.
